Upon receipt of the appraisal report, it undergoes a thorough review by the lender and, in some cases, a third-party reviewer. With all documents submitted, your file moves into the underwriting phase. This critical step is completed quickly, typically taking 1 to 2 days for single-asset loans and 2 to 4 days for portfolio loans.
